I have been meaning to write this article to share with you the process how to be happy in life, for a long time. But I waited until I have achieved the sense of ultimate happiness myself, so you can do it yourself. In order to make the most of this message you will have to read between the lines. Get inspired and really feel the message with your heart rather than understanding it with your mind. I am very excited to share this with you today, because I know that true happiness can be achieved by anyone, regardless of their situation.

Notice the good things in life you already possess

Every one of us has a starting point for satisfaction with our lives. The reality is such that it does not matter how happy you actually are in life. Happiness, wealth, intelligence… Nearly everything in life is relative. You can always have more, do more, and be better. However, what does matter, is how happy you believe you are now. In order to better answer this question, it is good to think about the wonderful things you already have in life.

I recommend listing them at the back of your diary when you are in a good mood. This message to yourself can help when you find yourself more pessimistic in the future.

Drop the unwanted ballast off your shoulders

You don’t need rude and negative people in your life. You don’t need worries. You don’t need sorrow and despair. You do not need to linger to the upsetting past events. It is your choice to refuse dealing with these issues in your life and here I strongly encourage you to do so. As for any change in life, it does require a great deal of courage on your part to achieve this successfully, but it is so worth it.

Remember, every day presents you with an opportunity to start anew. As you wake up in the morning looking at the sunrise remember that it is your day, you can rise like a phoenix from the ashes. Let the rising sun lift you up along with itself.

Count only on yourself

Don’t worry about other people. They are just secondary characters in your life story. If they are there – great, if they leave – it’s their loss. Your inner strength is all you need in life. Everything else will come. You should aim to feel your inner strength giving you all the security, peace and reassurance you will ever need. Reconnect with your inner self. Rediscover yourself.

Learn who you are, get to know the type of person you are, what talents you possess, figure out exactly what you love and what you are indifferent to. Focus on the things that truly matter to you, because it is your life. May the inner strength of your individuality drive you forward as you follow the path of your adventure called life.

Recognize that the world has so much to offer

This world is such a beautiful place, with so much to offer. Often, when we feel depressed, this statement may slip away from our understanding and so it is vital that I highlight it here. Look around you and see the abundance that this world has presented us with. Recognize the opportunities it gives us every single day. All you have to do is to open yourself to the many possibilities that life is throwing at you. The step of opening yourself to life is vital and facilitates a ground-breaking transformation to occur.

Let curiosity drive you

Take every day as it comes with a sense of curiosity. This approach is such as the one a child takes when getting to know the real world. A baby doesn’t have any expectations, it just waits for things to happen and then it reacts to them accordingly. The approach of curiosity is therefore the best one to overcome a compulsive sense of trying to control everything in life, and it can also destroy your unrealistic expectations. Wouldn’t life be so much better if you kept on getting positively surprised? Well, if you live according to the principle of curiosity, this can become an everyday luxury you never knew you had.

Replace the fear of unknown with the curiosity and the world will be yours

Take ownership of your life

Wake up every morning to an understanding that you have the power to decide what to do that day. It is your life and you decide between the small things, like what to eat for dinner to the important things, like whether to take that job or not. Know that you are not only blessed with free will but also with the divine guidance. You are free to do whatever you desire and you have all the power of the Universe to help you achieve all these things and more. Become mindful of all actions you perform in a day. This will help you regain control over your life instead of just existing.

Once you do regain the full control, you will truly feel that things depend on you, rather than the choice being always made for you. You do have the power to design your life according to how you want to live it. It may not happen overnight, but as long as you take a step at a time towards the right direction, you will get there eventually. Remember, every day presents you with fresh opportunities, unique acquaintances and new adventures. Take them as they come!

The kingdom of heaven is within you; and whosoever shall know himself shall find it.

Set yourself on the right track

Set yourself in the right direction and make decisions to get you where you want to be.

Let the Universe guide you towards the right path. Feel the sense of connection to the much greater thing than just your being. Learn to listen to the inspiration which the Universe is whispering in your ear every time you open yourself to it. Never close yourself to its power and always remain open to its tips and guidance. This will let you make better choices even if you don’t have all the information in your conscious mind.

Be patient

Be patient and wait for the events to unfold. There is no way you can predict the future, so wait and see what blessings you will be gifted with. This mystery of not knowing the future may be scary as it provides you with a sense of uncertainty. However, no matter what the future holds for you, there will be a lesson to learn from it. Additionally, not knowing what will happen is exciting and gives you freedom to act in the present, to design the future you want to live.

Congratulate yourself

Every night, go to sleep accomplished. Know that you have done all the things you wanted to do that day. It is important to congratulate yourself as you have done well! Make sure to give yourself days and moments of rest. This will be the time which you spend with yourself, it is especially for you. This is not only crucial for your mental health and distressing or recovering but also in reconnecting with your own self to live a more fulfilled life.

Breathe in the essence of pure creativity

Touch the soul and spirit of humanity

Bathe in the healing light of quiet divinity
